The International Conference on Experimental Linguistics, initiated by the Kay Laboratory of Linguistics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, is to promote the development of theories and techniques of experimental linguistics in China, and to explore the experimental linguistic research in areas such as phonetics, syntax and semantics. The First International Conference on Experimental Linguistics, hosted by College of Literature and Journalism, Sichuan University, will be held on June 7-8, 2025 at Sichuan University. The conference is now accepting paper abstracts. Relevant details are outlined below.

1. Topics

Main Topic: The construction of an independent knowledge system for Chinese experimental linguistics. 

Sub-topics include, but are not limited to:

1）Research on language acquisition and development from the perspective of New Arts；

2）The objectives and implementation paths of corpus construction and research in the era of artificial intelligence；

3）Theoretical development and experimental exploration in language cognition research.

2. Author Instructions

1）Format

Title: Font size 3, Song typeface.

Text: Font size 5, Song typeface.

Length: Approximately 1000 words in Chinese (or 500 words in English).

Layout: One page or less on an A4 sheet with default margins.

2）Submission Limits‌: 

Each author may submit:

One independent authored paper.

One paper as a co-author (second author).

Anonymous version (without any author information).
