To advance the theories and techniques of experimental linguistics in China and explore experimental linguistic research in areas such as phonetics, syntax, and semantics, the Key Laboratory of Linguistics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has established the ‌International Conference on Experimental Linguistics‌ as a biennial academic event.

The First International Conference on Experimental Linguistics will be held on June 7-8, 2025 at Sichuan University. It is organized by the Key Laboratory of Linguistics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and hosted by College of Literature and Journalism, Sichuan University.
